  • I was watching Dubai TV today when KDD's commercial came up. Poor guys they had to buy extra tv time to show a disclaimer in the beginning that KDD is not Danish and some religious institute urges the people not to boycott it.

But hey the stock market has been down, who cares about a danish mozarilla!

  • trust me, when the stock market is down n u dont even get to eat your food the way u like it...

  • Sorry Harsha .. it was opened, shredded and spread over 3 layers of a delicious lasagna we had for lunch today :)

Jandeef - boycott or no boycott, nothing comes between me and KDD's chocolate milk

Agree with Sheikha as well .. till when will this boycott last?

  • lol moryarti please, I feel for you. Yalla bring the Mrs. and baby girl with you to Sweden for a vacation, and ahlan wa sahlan 3anna, we have it all here.

I shall continue drinking my half swedish/danish arla milk and eating its cheeze. You are welcome any time. Anyone else having cravings? Hop on the boat as well.

  • Tell me where the Black Market for Danish Cheese is please. That's where all the traders who lost their money should be making their cash back.

  • SS, we would be honored .. btw, my aunt and grandma have been living in Sweden for the past 17 years..

Grapeshisha - I heard about that market.. my friend got 2 packs of Lurpak the other day. I asked him to get me some.. i am still waiting.

  • I honestly don't see what the fuss about danish products is, I can't say I really have liked any of them that much.

If you want good cheese, try anchor cheese, or some colby, or anything, purchasing the same brand of cheese over and over makes it dull, variety=best.
We once won a competition and had a 5 kg block of cheese in our fridge for a long long time.
