A couple of pics i received on email of the rain last week. I so don't want to be the owner of that black E-class.. or the Silver Pathfinder, ... or the gold Passat... or the X-trail or the Yaris... or the Honda ...

OMG tha cars..... what a waste.. i wonder what the owners would say?
I didnt know that in sharja rain can be this heavy!

sheeesh.. poor merc owner.. probably best to enter from the sunroof (if possible) and put the car in neutral and tow it out.. otherwise the interior will be swamped.. yuk...
man.. they ought to invent sewers in that city... or rather invest in them!

I also got that email, funny title by the way "Water in Sharjah or Sharjah in Water?" i also though of posting them but you beat me up to it.

I always thought people were exaggerating when they say they were swimming in the rain in Sharjah - I guess not.

Abood lives in Sharjah and wants to buy a Peogeot 206 cc next month. I told him not if he lives in Sharjah - he better get a 4X4. I think the weather there prooves my point. He'll have too much problem finding his small car ...especially after a rain storm.
