Nawal Zoghbi is Ripping off Jennifer Lopez
Arabic music industry has a notorious reputation of hijacking ideas and concepts from western counterparts.
These days, however, Arabic music video directors are taking it up a notch. They are actualy ripping off concepts from western TVCs.
I watched Nawal's latest clip Yama Aalo and couldn't help not noticing the striking resemblance of the Lebanese Pop star’s dance routine to Jennifer Lopez's LIVE perfume TV spot.
I took a few screenshots for you to see for yourself.
Fine. There is nothing wrong in getting "inspired”. But for heaven's sake… don't copycat the exact same thing! The long red scarf, the dance moves even the camera close-ups... give us the benefit of doubt at least!

Yep the red scarf. the twisting thing...eh what can i say...
Lack of creativity...If you take a closer look at almost all the arabic video clips you will at least get a good amount of hijacked videos.

Now they are hiring Americans and Europeans directors to do the trick, and the outcome is : paying a hell lots of money for the same hijacked video but with an "A" calls signature... sheesh.. they should start readying about the word 'creativity'.
And Moryarti.. fours post in the same day? I am impressed ;)

Come on, Nawal has a history of ripping off. She did a copy of the spice girls video as well. I forgot the song, it was out in syria in 2003 I think. You know which one I mean?
